As part of our end of year show we have been asked to produce some visuals that will be used to promote the show and ourselves. This is a large A1 format folding poster promoting my end of year project.
Currently working towards my finals at Birmingham City University which will consist of a show at Millennium Point. I have produced a book as part of my finals, these are a few images from it.
Producing a published book for my final project. Instead of using standard page folios I wanted something a bit different. I researched into different coding systems and came across the system kodak use to date films. I used this as a bases to create my own time line & dating system.
A piece from my final major project which is looking at the treatment of homosexuals within the Nazi concentration camps. I was influenced by the Swiss style & especially Brockmann. My final piece will be a printed book, each page consisting of a double page spread. I have used a combination of digital fonts & hand produced fonts.
We were required to create a double page spread for the FEED magazine based on any subject we had an interest in, the subject had to be design based and of interest to others. I chose to do mine on legibility and as graphic designers do we really have to worry about how legible text is compared to the overall design. To highlight this point I type set the whole article in DIN expert.
We were required to create a double page spread based on a selected designer. This was to be presented in a Q&A way. The project was self motivated & along with the final double page spread a pdf presentation was also required, here are a few of my my slides;

::// A bit about me;
I have recently finished my HND degree in Graphic Design where I graduated at distinction level and I am now seeking employment within this field.
During my University time I have been a key player within my year taking on such roles as project manager for design briefs and also volunteering to be the years student rep. I believe myself to be a good team member who has the drive to lead and motivate others whilst being completely capable of working alone to set goals and targets.
::// My experience;
As well as my university course I have also been working for a local design company for experience, where I have worked on a variety of new and existing clients over the last year, many of which have been put to print and are in circulation at the moment. Along side my work experience placement that I secured myself, I have also been handling the promotional work for several local bars to gain experience and collect artwork for my portfolio.
I have currently been studying in Birmingham, being stationed at BIAD Birmingham, Design Centre Sutton & FEED Studio Millennium Point, but will be relocating to Manchester and have secured residence already.
